p. 304. “(Brasier-Creagh/IFR; Dill/IFR) A gabled Victorian house of the local pink sandstone, built 1855-6 by Edward Cavanagh Murphy. Bought 1890 by W.H.S. Langley-Brasier-Creagh, who added to the house, subsequently owned by Capt J. Baily who carried out various alterations. Bought ca 1948 by Maj J. M.G. Dill, whose wife (afterwards Baroness Clifford) extended and improved the attractive gardens. Sold bost 1980 by their son Maj Richard Dill.”
